Clodine Rehabilitation – USACE

Continuate of a previous Lecon project completed in 2014. This project entailed 1,850 LF of channel armoring via Articulated Concrete Block (ACB) across the channel bottom and partially up the slope, terminating in a turn-down excavated into the slope and then backfilled. There was approximately 150,000 SF of ACB installed along with 30,000 CY of compacted fill placed. Lecon’s experienced personnel allowed for work to be performed “in the dry” due to a successful Care of Water Plan: a combination of 12”, 8” & 6” pumps were used to divert the channel from the work area to the west end swale.
